Couple of thoughts. Jesus said that His sheep hear and know His voice. There’s something inherent about the voice of the Shepherd which gives peace to and calms the sheep. That being said, Jesus is also not going to be telling you anything contrary to what is in the Bible. Further, we each need to get intimately familiar with what IS in the Bible — God is already speaking to us there. The Gospels are a great place to start, because there we get to hear the words of Jesus firsthand.

You also ask how you can get/have faith. Paul tells us that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.

If you don’t have a good habit of daily reading the Word, then start one. Start with the Gospels, reading through them and asking Jesus to speak to your heart and mind directly through His Word. Then spend some time in prayer just talking to God about what you read. That’s how you work on developing that relationship with God.

how will i know if that jesus talks to me sometimes its hard to understand how will i walk with god how i do that if i only i could believe and have faith how will you do that i would like to ask you that question
